Day One

On the trip out to Boston, our first stop was a place called Howe Caverns. It was really pretty up there. The girls thought they needed to pay to see the view. It is a cave we went down into.

This is pretty much what most of it looked like! Lots of dark walls with some dripping water! It was really neat. It was really cold down there.

Our next stop before the hotel for some much needed sleep was Salem, Massachussettes. The home of the Salem Witch Trials. If you ask me, this tour was a bunch of "Hocus Pocus"! But, let me tell you, the mere fact that they have these tours and apparently make a decent amount of money off of them tells me we are a gullible people!! These 7th graders were a prime audience!

These were our tour guides. Obviously dressing the part. They kept trying to convince the kids that all these places were haunted because of what happened there during the witch trials! The kids were just sure they would be able to see a ghost!

I think we definitely need to go to Salem, that would be so much fun with all the kids!
