The Start of Spring Break!!

Spring Break is here and after 2 days in the car with 5 kids, a stop at a hotel, (unloading was fun!!), a day at Tricia's, and another day in the car, we made it to Orlando. We met up with Greg for the vacation and got off to a good start!! Our first park was Islands of Adventure. Taylor was not tall enough to ride on Hulk (she didn't take that too well) and getting as wet as they could seemed to be Savannah and Taylor's goal.

Tim could not ride Hulk but thought he wanted to show off his muscles!! I guess he doesn't think the stay out ropes apply to him!!

I didn't think the 5 "things" I already had was enough so I found me two more. Surprisingly, Maddie was really okay with all the characters she met. I figured she would scream her head off at them. She does scream at the humans that look at her I guess.
Tim and Daddy went to have breakfast with Elmo and friends. He was not interested in taking a picture right next to Elmo, so Dad had to stand in the middle!!

Apparently the ride did not get them wet enough!! Zack and Chris decided to make sure they were as wet as possible!! They were soaked and quickly realized Mom only packs a change of clothes for the people in diapers!! They had to dry out all on their own. This is the start of our week and will add more of our adventures later. We are off to Hollywood Studios today (even though in true Florida fashion it is raining!!) We have had a busy week so far and are trying to see as much as we can before we all have to head back to our corners of the world!!

Maddie Turns 1!!!!!

On the 20th of February Maddie rounded out our birthday rush with her First Birthday!! We had a party at our house over lunch with sandwiches and chips. Of course a poodle cake to finish it off!! She loved diving into her cake with no silverware or help!!

For some reason when she opened her gifts, she felt that putting them on her head was a great way to try them out!! She really had a lot of fun and it is amazing how quickly a year goes by!! She isn't quite walking yet but will stand and dance in one spot!! I am sure she will be walking in no time and it will only make things more chaotic in our house.

Birthday Madness!!!

Well, our birthday rush is finally coming to an end!! We have a busy birthday time starting with Chris in January on the 29th.

Then it was on To Ginger on the 6th of February!! The family surprised me with a surprise party and a family dinner.

Taylor's was next on the 17th of February. She had a girls day out for lunch and some shopping!!


We went out to Texas Roadhouse for lunch where Taylor had to take part in their ritual of sitting on the saddle for a Texas Roadhouse Happy Birthday yeeehaaa!!!
On Sunday the 17th we surprised Taylor with a little Hannah Montana Birthday Party!!
